The Large  Playcushion has been designed to give young babies, infants and larger children who need it, postural support. It is essential for new borns to be held in a position where their head is supported, yet not tilted forward. Likewise it is important not to position a baby so that their backs are bent. The straighter the position the better.
 
The twin compartment design of the Playcushion, with its “horse-shoe doughnut” shape to keep bottoms in place and the wedge shaped back support is ideal to do the job. You can shake the beans from one compartment to the other to get the desired position. Good posture gives a baby a good view of the world around, stimulating awareness and all the senses. 
 
The Playcushion can support  a baby lying on tummy or back.  
 
Size 1 m long 80 cm wide.
 
Made from hygienic anti-bacterial "eco-Play" fabrics: non-toxic, phthalate free, wipe clean. Made with a permanent inner liner containing fire retardant bean bag beans and removable wipe clean anti-bacterial, machine washable outer. 
 
To refill inner you will need to undo a seam re-fill and then sew closed. Eco-Play outer is also machine washable. Cool and warm cycles. Tumble dries. Do not iron.
