The Prices on the website are our current prices. However, they are subject to change, upwards or downwards, especially if significant changes in exchange rates occur.
How to Order
Orders can be made in the following ways:
- Through our Website – www.thinkingtoys.ie . This is the most efficient way as the order immediately creates a tracking on our system so the possibility for errors is reduced

- In writing by Letter or Fax (Fax No. 061 375261)
- By calling us on 061 374402 or 085 8894855. Please leave a message if you do not get through as we will respond in a timely manner.
Deliveries to Ireland & Northern Ireland
As a rule we send all orders out by courier and the VAT inclusive cost of delivery is €4.99.
Our delivery charge is a one off charge and is the same regardless of whether the order contains one item or two or three. If an item is out of stock and is placed on a back order, we will deliver the back order at our expense.
We can also arrange deliveries of gifts anywhere in the world. Please contact us for prices.
Sending by Post
Please note that if an order can safely be sent by post at a lower charge then we dispatch by post and charge the lower postage charge. The default €4.99 will appear on your website order but we will reduce the payment when we are dispatching your order.
Pick Up from Warehouse
We don't have a shop but we have a warehouse in Killaloe. It's not ideal for looking around but you can certainly arrange to come and see some products or pick items up. Please ring us in advance on 061 374402 before organising a trip out to us. The warehouse is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5pm.
UK and European Mainland customers
We do ship orders to UK and Europe.
The cost of shipping to the UK is €9 (including VAT) and orders are shipped by courier. Please see note above for orders to Northern Ireland.
For mainland Europe orders, we simply determine a shipping cost based on the contents of the order. We communicate this cost to the customer who can decide if they wish to proceed.
Payment / Credit Accounts
Generally, purchases need to be paid in advance of shipping. Payment can be made by Laser, Credit Card, Cheque, Bank Draft or Postal Order.
However, we will send orders out to HSE (with PO), schools and institutions with an invoice. Payment terms for invoices are as soon as possible but no longer than 30 days.
Our policy is not to take payment until the good are ready for dispatch. We aim to carry all items in stock so dispatch should be within 2 to 3 days of receiving an order. If any item is out of stock we will contact the customer to advise.
Shortage or Damages in Delivery
Any obvious damage to a box on delivery should be noted with the courier and we should be notified straight away.
Any damaged product discovered after taking delivery should be notified to us within 3 working days
Any shortage in a delivery should also be notified to us within 3 working days.
Returns policies can be very complicated. We will try and keep ours as simple as possible!
If you receive damaged goods or we make an error and send you the incorrect product then contact us and we will arrange for a replacement or a credit depending on the customers preference.
If you feel the product you ordered is not fully suitable, then please return to us, in a re-saleable condition and with packaging, within 7 days and we will arrange a credit for you on receipt.
The “suitable ages” listed throughout the catalogue are the manufacturers recommendations. Customers should use these as reference points when trying to determine their suitability for their children.
There are certain products for which we strongly recommend that you only purchase if you have received input from a professional therapist. These products include weighted products, deep pressure products and some of our oral motor and vibrating products.
Availability of Stock
We aim to carry sufficient stock levels to ensure that products are dispatched within 2 to 3 days of receiving an order. Sometimes we fail in this, but we will always let customers know if there is going to be a delay at the time of placing an order. Products that are out of stock will be placed on a back order and delivered as soon as possible. To confirm our commitment to having products in stock at all times, all back orders are delivered free of charge.
