Hey, Children On The Autism Spectrum Play Too
A child is a child first and foremost.
Some children may happen to have a specific impairment. Often children on the autism spectrum do not play in the way we might expect.
Some children seem difficult to engage and encourage into creative play. These children may have difficulties in socialising with others, communicating and may play in a very literal sense.
This book has been written to support those working or living with children on the autism spectrum.
This book is part of a series published by The Play Doctors supporting inclusion.
Each book provides thoughts and resources to help adults work with all children to ensure they are offered the same chances and experiences as others.
