This is the Teaching Guide  for 1st Steps with Numicon in the Nursery  and supports children and practitioners in developing maths understanding in nursery. 

Numicon builds a deep understanding of maths through a multi-sensory approach, developing children's fluency, reasoning and problem-solving. 

The Teaching Guide contains a wide variety of engaging activities, which will encourage children's mathematical development throughout the Nursery setting.
