ARK's Bite Tube Tip (Textured)

ARK's Bite Tube Tip for the Z-Vibe® is specially designed for targeted, functional biting and chewing practice - fill the hollow centre with soft foods such as applesauce, yogurt, or stage 1 baby foods to establish the concept of biting and chewing to eat, and to practise the motor planning of eating skills. Developed in partnership with Shari Martin, OTR/L.

Smooth vs Textured

• Smooth (Lavender) - Ideal starting point for individuals with oral defensiveness; gentler sensory input
• Textured (Blue) - Provides tactile input and added resistance; better for those needing more proprioceptive input to the mouth

For individuals with a weak bite, start with the hollow Bite Tube Tip and progress to a solid Bite-n-Chew Tip (sold separately). Can be trimmed to a shorter length with scissors.
