The high contrast colours stimulate the baby's visual behaviour, attention and perception as well as helping observations of different colours and shapes.

Children use their visual capacity to continuously improve their perception of their surroundings. Playing with pieces of different colours help to stimulate and develop basic visual functions, such as fixation, acuity and tracking.
